Australian singer-songwriter Kasey Chambers returns to the U.S. with an ambitious double album, “Dragonfly,” which has already topped the charts in her home country. The release features an all-star cast of collaborators, including Ed Sheeran, Keith Urban and Foy Vance.
But it’s Chambers who demands the attention with her sweet, roots-influenced songs and candid storytelling. She packs her life story in “Talkin’ Baby Blues,” digs into the blues with “Pompeii” and veers into new country with “Satellite.”
Catch her live Thursday, March 9, at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley and Friday, March 10, at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley.
