from Rolling Stone:
Renowned singer-songwriter-musician Sarah Jarosz will launch an extensive 2016 tour in support of her new album Undercurrent, which is due out June 17th. The collection is Jarosz’s fourth full-length and was recorded with her longtime collaborator Gary Paczosa (Alison Krauss).
The tour gets underway in Jarosz’s native Texas with a show at Kessler Theater in Dallas and includes stops at the Troubadour in Los Angeles and the Bowery Ballroom in New York. Following the album release, she will reteam with I’m With Her bandmates Sara Watkins and Aoife O’Donovan to join Chris Thile’s American Acoustic Show June 24th at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Additionally, Jarosz will perform on A Prairie Home Companion when it visits the Hollywood Bowl on July 1st. In November, she’ll head overseas for a UK tour.
Undercurrent is the guitar and mandolin prodigy’s first album since 2013’s Build Me Up from Bones, which included covers of Bob Dylan’s “Simple Twist of Fate” and Joanna Newsom’s “The Book of Right-On.”
